First we need to discover self. Then accept it, what ever it is. Second we need to learn to listen. Third to be honest. With these three things we can talk to each other and find a way to have REAL communication. Then we WILL understand each other and ourselves. To know self, to listen, to be honest, to talk and understand. We need awareness so we can show the children how to be aware. Replace fear with trust. This is how we can help ourselves. We north americans and the way our federal and state systems with supply and demand is the problem. Think about what has happened in the last 100 years in this country. The real problem is we have lost touch with the basics. We want alot. Our wanting is our suffering. We need to be honest with ourselves. The democracy we thought we were working toward has evolved and changed into something that needs our attention. Our ignorance and lack of awareness and action is making matters worst.
