I advocate rational thinking... I'm not impressed with supernatural explanations for the origin of our universe, or human life... Theist tell me I need faith, but I looked it up... Faith means: "belief in, devotion to, or trust in somebody or something, especially without logical proof"... Well that don't cut it with me... I've seen you silly theist rolling around on the floor convulsing and talking in tongues, and passing around rattlesnakes and scorpions to prove your faith... I want no part of your faith, I like a good, honest logical thought process, free of emotion when dealing with these big questions... But you theist tell me I'm stupid for feeling this way, I think your thought process is flawed theist... I think of myself as being a hard core atheist... What I mean by this is if your christian god were to magically appear before me, and perform all his magic... You know like walking on water, food falling from the sky, and such... That would by no means convince me that he is an omnipotent force over-seeing the human race with his promises of heaven for worshiping him, and his threat of burning in a lake of fire for eternity for disbelief... No a few parlor tricks would not do it for me, I would require more than that... In order for me to become a believer, your god would have to sit down with me and explain in detail his reasoning behind all the horrible things he has done... I am not buying into this [its above our comprehension] crap... Why would a force for good do so many evil things ??? If I wanted to worship one of the many gods out there it would most certainly not be that god of the Bible... I think if there was an omnipotent god, he would have everyone on the same page... There would be no discrepancies about what god to worship or what that god expected of us... If there was a god, and he wanted us to believe in him, and know that he exist, then why would he be hiding ??? Why would a god create people knowing full well in advance that he would be sending most of them to hell for eternity... That is not above my comprehension, that would be cruel... We truly need a world wide atheist effort to convince the deluded people that there are no imginary gods before their fighting ends up destroying our planet... Think of 911 as a wake up call... It would certainly be a shame if a nuclear war over these fairy tale gods destroyed the human race... We Americans oblivious need a lot more biology and physics being taught in our class rooms, and at an earlier age...
