More Details on Swift Dzire :
http://bit.ly/2q15HD0Maruti Suzuki’s third generation DZire is looking to go more upmarket. While the Dzire is still a sub-4m sedan Maruti Suzuki has managed to improve the interior space for a richer in-cabin experience. In term of dimensions, the all-new DZire is 3995mm long, 1515mm tall, 1735mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2450mm. These dimensions make the new sedan same in length, 40mm wider, 40mm shorter in height and 20mm longer in wheelbase. The new DZire sits lower to the ground, ground clearance has gone down by 7mm to 163mm. The boot space is also up by 60-litres and is now 376-litres.
The all-new Maruti Suzuki DZire gets a hexagonal front grille with a healthy dose of chrome, new headlamps with DRLs, new wheels and looks completely different from the current sedan.
Inside, the Sedan gets all new interiors. The highlight though is the new three-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheels with mounted controls and the 7-inch touchscreen display in the centre which features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The black-beige interior theme is carried forward with leather upholstery, and so is the fake wooden finish on the dashboard. There is a greater focus on the back seat experience as well. The Dzire gets air-conditioning vents for the second row and a charging point too. Also, there is more space on offer overall. The additional 30mm of shoulder room helps make the Dzire feel much more spacious.
The diesel and petrol engines have been carried forward from the current sedan. Though the transmission options are a little different. The 1.2-litre petrol engine gets a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission, in place of the 4-speed auto from before. The 1.3-litre diesel will be available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT (same as before). Also, the weight of the sedan has been reduced from before. The petrol powered sedan weighs 85kg less than before and the diesel Dzire is 105Kg lighter. In terms of safety, the new DZire gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX seat mounts as standard.
The all-new DZire will be launched on 16 May 2017 and should remain competitive in terms of pricing.
