To Sean's parents,
My brother Dale Burger was in 3/1 Lima Company and was killed on November 14th, 2004. It is so sad that both Sean and Dale were taken from us, but at least they were true hero's. I was watching the video you had posted that you received from Flight 33 Productions. I had originally seen that air on the History channel and it was 1 or 2 hours long. Is there anyway you would have the contact information from the company, so I could call and buy a video. Or do you have a link to the whole video? Thank you! Rachel Burger

Thank you very much for a wonderful and honest prospective our troops and their families' sacrifices. I wish with all my heart that they are safe and that their sacrifices don't go to waste. There is not a word on earth that describes their heroic actions and their sacrifices for our freedom and country. I, every day, think about and pray for them and their families. Thank you again for an inspiring memorial page. God bless America and our troops.

In my Global Studies class we were talking about what makes a hero. That previous night our homework was to bring in a photo of our hero. While other kids looked for photos of their favoitre sports player or actress, I brought in a photo of Sean and also the book "We Were One". I talked to the class why I viewed Sean as my hero. I look up to Sean, even though i never knew him. I never stop thinking about the sacrifices our service men make.

The day after my 14th birthday (July 30th 2007), I was shocked to find out that Sean was killed. This past year when I turned 15, I had a small memorial service to him with my friends, we had a moment of prayer to remember him and all the other troops who have given their last breath to protect my freedom. Godbless

i finished reading "We Were One" today... as i read through the book i was amazed by each Marines heroism, especially Sean's. every since i was 5, i have wanted to be a Marine...many of my relatives have been in the military, and some have been to Iraq and Afganastan. i am only 14 (15 in july) and have many years before i can join, my heros were and are always the ones who serve... Sean is one of my heros. not a day goes by for me, where i dont think about these brave men and wemon who give there lives for their country.
