Jews are NOT, "God's chosen people." They lost that "title" when they crucified the Son of God. It's explained in the book of Jeremiah and Iasiah. Not that I'm Christian, I am just disgusted by the idea that we would do ANYTHING because some group of people call themselves, "gods chosen people." It is a sick idea. It's inherently racist, because it places one's race or religion above all others. It is intolerable. It is HATEFUL!!! And have you ever noticed that it is ALWAYS one's own race or religion that is "God's chosen people?" That's no coincidence.

That is why Israel should be important to Christians, God promised to make them a nation again after they were destroyed and God kept His promise. Israel became a nation again in 1948.
