Hello bros & sis'!! I am a a 19 year old college student with hopes to pursue a career in the arts & mass communications. I am all about freedom of expression. My biggest interests are black people (lol), hair, beauty, skincare, fashion, education, nutrition, and higher learning. I am just now getting around to editing my youtube account but looking forward to meeting some really cool positive people, and in the future making some informational videos. It was Dec. 12 2009 when I did my "lil chop".Feb 26 2010 when I chopped again. I never thought I would ever be natural again! I never thought I would have the strength and courage to take on this journey despite all of the negativities from outside forces I have prospered! I feel so free these days and so true to myself never again will I become a victim of indoctrination about my hair or how I should look as a black woman! I love being deeply rooted and more intune with my natural beautiful self. Being natural brings a whole new type of attention that you get from people...and people have no choice than to hate it or to accept you for the strong natural essence that you possess! Loving it!! :-)

Hello my friend. I watched your video about finding a good gel. I have two you might want to try. The first is called uncle funky's daughter (curly magic)$25.00-18oz. It works really good for defining your curls, you want need to add any other product with this, no frizz. And it works good with my # 2 gel the MYGEL by Joie. Found @ Joienatural.com for 7.99 4oz. I love this gel for laying down my edges, I haven't tried it all over yet. You might want to get the large size16oz., because you'll probablyly end up ordering it again like I did. I hope this helped.
