I have a pull up contest on Monday and want to do my best. I did 20 dead hang pull ups on Tuesday which is a new personal record for me, and a 90 rep weighted pull up workout on Thursday. I want to do a tricep workout with heavy weights today(Firday) but I don't want that to limit my max out on Monday. Will doing heavy tricep dips, tricep pushdowns and skull crushers affect my max out? I was thinking it would due to the increase in muscle strength and decrease in muscular endurance due to the workout. What do you think, you're the expert? :)

Wow! That is how much I weigh. If we ever go over a cliff together and I manage to grab your leg after you grab a root, it is nice to know that you can pull us both up.

What the fuck am I talking about?

Seriously though, you da man!

Hey buddy,

Love you videos man, keep it up. I have a question for you. I maxed out last week at 18 dead hang pull ups, I have a test on Monday and want to get 20 very bad. I did 152 pull ups on Thursday and did a leg and tricep weight workout Friday. I am thinking I should rest Saturday and Sunday. What do you think about a 2 pullups increase by then?

I've been trying to improve my pullups as well... I can do about 11-12 chin ups, 7-8 pull ups, 8-9 hammer grip pulls up. I'm looking to increase my all by 6-8 reps within a month or two... is there a routine or program you can recommend or design :) ?? Thank you, James
