Salvation is by...

1~ Faith Alone {Sola Fide}{Romans 4:5}
2~ Scripture Alone {Sola Scriptura}{2 Ti 3:15-16}
3~ Christ Alone {Solus Christus}{John 3:16-18}
4~ Grace Alone {Sola Gratia}{Eph 2:7-9}
5~ Glory To God Alone {Soli Deo Gloria}{Gal 1:4-5}

What I have said is this: God will not permit us to rely on anything or to cling with our hearts to anything that is not Christ as revealed in His Word, no matter how holy and full of the Spirit it may seem. Faith has no other ground on which to take its standcomfort can be provided for us neither by ourselves nor by any other creatureHence, when God sends us such grievous afflictions, we, too, must learn not to follow our own calculations or the advice of such men as send us hither and thither and direct us to our own or other peoples resources. On the contrary, we should remember that we must seek Christ in His Fathers house and business: we must simply cling to the Word of the Gospel alone, which shows us Christ aright and teaches us to know HimWhy do you refuse to be satisfied unless you find Him in yourselves and have the feeling of being holy and without sin? You will never succeed; all your toil will be labor lostYou must come to the place where there is neither your own nor any mans business, but Gods business and government, namely, to His Holy WordNor does He send you trials with the intention of casting you off, but in order that you may learn to know Him better and cling more firmly to His Word. My dear friends:
THIS is the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

"Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you— unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve." (1 Corinthians 15:1-5)

"For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life." (Romans 5:10)

"Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God." (Romans 5:9)

"...and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith." (Romans 3:24-25a)

"In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." (1 John 4:10)

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree.........By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God...." (1 Peter 3:18)

Christ's Righteousness is imputed to the Elect:

"For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Corinthians 5:21)

This is God's promise to His Elect, to those who are now (and in future, to be) in Christ:

"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death." (Romans 8:1-2)

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)

"For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law." Romans 3:23

In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14)

"...blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin." (Romans 4:8)

"Who shall bring any charge against Gods elect? It is God who justifies." (Romans 8:33)

Salvation is of the Lord Alone:

"I wait for your salvation, O LORD." (Genesis 49:18)

"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life;of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)

"The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble." IPsalm 37:29)

"Show us your steadfast love, O LORD,and grant us your salvation." (Psalm 85:7)

"The LORD has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations." (Psalm 98:2)

"I hope for your salvation, O LORD." (Psalm 119:166)

"I long for your salvation, O LORD,and your law is my delight." (Psalm 119:174)

"Behold, God is my salvation;I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation." (Isaiah 12:2)

"It is good that one should wait quietlyfor the salvation of the LORD." (Lamentations 3:26)

"Salvation belongs to the LORD!" (Jonah 2:9)

"I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation." (Habakkuk 3:18)
