from this widened perspective, so much of what we do to each other must have the rest of creation shaking their heads in disbelief. the fact is that someone born in the united states is not more special than someone born in mexico. someone born in london is not more special than someone born in liverpool. someone who is white is not more special than someone who is black. theyre just vehicles for the consciousness to experience. if you go down to the seashore, and you pick up a droplet of water in your hand, how can anyone say that that droplet is any more or less special than all the other billions and trillions of droplets you see in the ocean before you?

so when i began to understand all this, and appreciate this other explanation to dogmatic religion and this world is all there is science, i started to ask a few questions of this situation. like how come, this explanation, at the very bottom line least, is as credible as the other two, how come the other two get guaranteed airtime, often no questions asked, heres your airtime say what youd like, and the alternative to both of them, is ridiculed or condemned, suppressed by reflex action? the answer that i came up with was that clearly, some people dont want the public to have access to this kind of information.

but who? and what? and why?

and i began to ask other questions. like, idk about you, but ive met alot of people in my life, and i cant to my knowledge recall anyone who wanted a war, who had any interest in wars. who felt that wars are anything but horrific and to be avoided. so i thought, how come the worlds been awash with wars throughout the century? whos behind them? or what? or why?

then i kinda looked at this economic system that controls the world. an economic system that is so sane, that the more successful it is in its own terms, the quicker it destroys the planet. its the perfect environmental and human assassin.

it insists every year that we take even more from the earth even quicker, turn it into more things, sell even more things, to consume even more things, to throw away even more things, to worship the real god of the modern world, economic growth.

it insists that every year twenty percent of the people of the world consume eighty percent of the resources, while leaving the other eighty percent to get by on the other twenty percent. its crazy. of course it is. but thats the economic system, take, make, and throw away that controls your life and mine. and that of six billion people nearly.

and so i thought, whats behind this self destruction? or who, and why?

i started to look at some of the other conventional wisdom that we pass on from generation to generation as the only way of doing things in this world.

the wisdom that says that even tho the economic system that ive just described is dismantling the planet, you ask a politician of any party in this world what do we do to get out of this environmental situation, and they will say we must have more growth to raise the money to spend on the environment. if i said to you the way to put out a fire is to pour more petrol on it youd say, hes out of his mind. but thats what the politicians are saying when they say about more growth to sort out the environment.

its conventional wisdom that its fine to treat animals as mere comodities. to be made as fat as possible, as quick as possible, on as little food as possible. to condemn every year billions of animals to a life of pain, fear and suffering in the name of economics.

your sane if you judge your success in health care not by how many people are healthy, but by how many diseased people you manage to treat. were treating more diseased people than ever before. why? why are so many people ill?

its conventional wisdom that rising house prices are a sign of economic success, while thousands are homeless because they cant afford it. your sane if you think its fine to support a system that every year turns out more suicide, alcoholism, drug taking, homelessness, pain, stress, fear, suffering in all its forms. we'd be in real trouble if this system wasnt working wouldnt we? that is sanity.but its the ultimate insanity. so whos behind it? or what? or why?

i began to realize too that against the backdrop of this utter self desruction, on this same planet, is stunning wisdom. and i began to see also that theres a great difference between cleverness and wisdom. theyre not the same thing. this systems very clever, but it isnt very wise, and its the lack of wisdom that is the problem. i began to see that what we call wisdom is not found in this state of the art, letters after their name system. its actually found in native peoples that this system would see as backwards. heres a piece of native american wisdom, (what have become known as the native american indians)...

when you cut down the last tree and poison the last river you will know that you cannot eat money...

thats wisdom.
About Me:

and theres another piece of very famous american indian wisdom. in 1854 the american government made an offer for indian land. and under the system that ive been talking about, and the attitudes and values that are indoctrinated into us, what should have happened was this chief should have said "well alright, im on a winner here. because its the sellers market. i never put it on the market, therefore im in the drivers seat. so what i'll do is duck and weave, and i'll crack on that i dont wanna sell, get them to push up the price, and at the moment that i think theyre gonna pull out, i'll put out my hand and say youve convinced me."

and people will think, "oooh, what a great businessman he is. that chief. fantastic. he'll be something in the cities he will." but theres another value system on this planet also. the value system that said this in terms of chief... how can you buy or sell the sky? we do not own the freshness of the air, or the sparkle on the water. how then can you buy them from us? every part of the earth is sacred to my people, holy in their memory and experience. we know the white man does not understand our ways. hes a stranger, who comes in the night and takes whatever he needs. the earth is not his friend but his enemy. and when hes conquered it, he moves on. he kidnaps the earth from his children. his appetite will devour the earth and leave behind a desert. if the beasts were gone we would die from a great loneliness of the spirit, for whatever befalls the earth, befalls the children of the earth.

its sobering to think that those words were spoken in 1854 when you look at what has happened since. ~david icke

whoever controls the volume of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce...and when you realize that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by a few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate. ~james a. garfield (assassinated president of the divided states of embarassment)

i believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. if the american people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. the issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. ~thomas jefferson

the government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the government and the buying power of consumers. by the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. the privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of government, but it is the government's greatest creative opportunity. ~abraham lincoln (assassinated president of the divided states of embarassment)

once a nation parts with the control of its currency and credit, it matters not who makes the nations laws. usury, once in control, will wreck any nation. until the control of the issue of currency and credit is restored to government and recognised as its most sacred responsibility, all talk of the sovereignty of parliament and of democracy is idle and futile. ~william lyon mackenzie king
