I think the video addressed that issue too. As you mentioned, it could be the fear of not performing adequately but it could also be that you are waiting for someone to tell you what to do, when and how. Unfortunately, this dictatorial, authoritative direction is often administered by parents and by teachers instead of nurturing independence, logical thinking and self-confidence.
In contrast to your the instances of procrastination you've explained, there are instances when I procrastinate things I love to do, or want to do. I believe this comes from some type of fear. For instance, I want to hone my drawing skills; I put off sitting down and working on the skills even when I have time, because I believe there's a fear of not performing perfectly... possibly. Or maybe it's something else. Maybe I don't know how to start. But I think I do. I would just like to get away from procrastinating the things I want to do. Maybe it has something to do with rediscovering my motivation.
Anyhow, thank you for the good video on procrastination of the other type. I would like to see something about procrastinating things you actually want to do.
