While the source from amazon.com may well be legitimate, there doesn't appear to be any guarantee on quantity or type of ore provided. If the item picture is anything to judge by, you're getting a source activity of about 1205 CPM, which represents either a very small sample or a very low-quality sample. It's highly impractical to buy, and then try to process, that small amount of ore considering the amount of high-quality ore strewn all over public BLM land throughout the western United States, which is free for the taking. For the $50 you spend on a check source, you could just as well buy $50 worth of gasoline and take a uranium prospecting day trip.

you can actually buy uranium ore on amazon. im serious about that to. go to the site and type it in also look at the comments they are pretty freaking hilarious
