RadioStar SF is now Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society To all fans, friends, media, and business partners, Starting immediately, my band will be known as Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society, instead of RadioStar SF. For those of you familiar with the bands history, this should not come as too big of a surprise as the name Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society has appeared on our skateboards, T-Shirts, and websites for years now. We also own the websites www.VillainSociety.com and www.RocknRollVillainSociety.co m , although it may take a few weeks to get them properly configured to point to the band page. Contrary to popular rumor, we are not in a legal battle over the name RadioStar SF, and we will continue to use the name for selected lines of merchandise. Additionally, www.RadioStarSF.com and all corresponding email addresses will remain in use indefinitely. All logos and artwork are my copyrighted designs and will remain in use by the band. The only difference is that you won't see RadioStar SF at the top of the T-shirts; you will see Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society. Our two CD's will be reissued as Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society CD's at their next reprintings. So why change? It's quite simple. I have never liked the name RadioStar SF, nor have I ever thought it expressed anything at all about our music. When the band began I was outvoted 3 to 1 on the band name, by three members who haven't played in the band in years. And we've been stuck with it. New members have always been against "messing with success" and while certainly a strong argument, I could no longer wake up in the morning and call my band RadioStar SF when I had the perfect name already on all the websites, skateboards, and most of the T-Shirts. Check out the lyrics to our first single from 2004 "Nothing to Die For" and tell me what the band name should have always been. On behalf of the band, I'd like to thank you all for all the shows, support, e-mails, website features, magazine articles, free booze, and casual sex we have received over the years and we promise to keep crushing corporate rock under the mighty boot of real rock 'n' roll.
