hi my friends..welcome to Father & Son Gold Mining reality show... have over 30 years experience in gold mining,..iam a.old school. marine corps vet.. viet nam era..and. most likley the only person to dredge the famous rapids.. trouble maker....in coloma ca since 1849.... were i saw pick marks from the ancient miners in the bedrock.. i was about 10 feet down running a. 4" dredge set up for 2 divers. with full dry suit and air wearing 90 pounds of lead it was in the late 1980s.... only a few yards away from were gold was first discoverd by james marshall... hense the pick marks.... say hi to my son who keeps me out there always looking..he is quite the prospector and has had many good finds.. so stay tuned for intersting and funny mining adventures.... and remember gold is where you find it.........
