About Me:
 
I am a former born-again Christian. I am working on a video series about the experience of de-conversion, the emotional effects of believing in Jesus on young people, and the power of silence. I also hope to make videos about a personal social project on belief I've started called "The Jesus Project".

You have the power to affect change. This series is very much inspired by the work of Evid3nc3, and I hope by making this I can do that for others.

It will take me at least 6 parts to tell this story. I'm averaging a video every two months. I wish I could get them out sooner.

I wrote the music for this series. Software: Mixcraft 5, Corel VideoStudio and Google SketchUp.

I didn't realise how lucky I was growing up in norway. being allowed to take a choice myself, and not beliving in any religion. Your pain seems terrible. Amazing videos and keep on going! Can't you spoil and tell us you have a great time today?

WOW, what an amazing story. It mirrors mine in many ways with young life, IV and leadership within the church and these organizations. You do a wonderful job reflecting the attitudes and emotions that surround the conferences and camps, I remember feeling very much the same way and found myself on the verge of tears at the memories you invoked. As someone who recently left the church and transferred out of a christian college, I would like to say that this sincere and emotional reverse-testimony is something urgently needed by young people today. Finish well--I want to share this series on facebook as I'm sure some of my friends are in the same place.

Only read just now you did your own score for the series (or am I mistaken?). This is a magnum opus indeed! Again, good luck to you and remember this: religiosity isn't a prerequisite and has nothing to do with true love, true human relationships or true meaning or emotion. But I guess you (had to) figure(d) that one out on your own...

Prplfox, thank you for being so candid and open in your videos, as someone who has never believed in god, I took the science route in life, I find it heartbreaking and harrowing that you or anyone would have to go through what looks like brainwashing to me, noone should ever have to go through the pain and turmoil you did over a 'story' that has zero evidence! Hurt in this manner has no place in anyones life and it is delightful to me that you have found your release. Peace and hugs
