That it is, but I moved from Murmansk to much warmer Volgograd when I was 18. From there I then moved to Moscow. I am currently in Richmond with my wife's family for the holidays.

Hi Pete! Yes, today is Memorial Day (November 14th). Specifically for veterans, there ar not how as in America.It commermorates the fallen soldiers of both world wars. but also politically and ecclesiastical. therefore not on the streets. more in the private environment. all the best! love and peace! god bless you!
