Most Important Day to Remove Karma- Maha Pradosham
This is a very special pradosham session. To begin with - it came to me very spontaneously, I usually don't do that. But it occured to me that I should invite some people who are staying in the ashram that I should give Darshan to the people here and while I was thinking about it I thought that I would do a video so that it would be very helpful for other people. Pradosham time is the 13th moon as most of you have been following, I don't know, particularly the 13th moon during the waning moon is the most important pradosham. Pradosham comes 2 times every 15 days and during the dark moon pradosham the waning moon is the most important pradosham.
And what is this pradosham? Pradosham time is the time when one comes back to an awakening. It is the time for awakening. Pradosham itself is the ritual use birds eye view of human life itself. So I have to explain this to you.
The 10th moon is the time of hard work and this is even in a story form where the demons and the Gods worked together to get the elixir of life by churning the ocean and 11th moon is when they get results. There are good things that come out of the milky ocean that they were churning. Lakshmi for instance, wealth, comes out of it and the 12th moon is the moon when they enjoy the results of the elixir. 13th moon is the moon when they come to their senses and then begin to think about Shiva who really helped them to get the elixir and removed the poison that came out of the ocean. So the 10th, 11th, 12th and the 13th moon are symbolic of what could happen in a cyclical manner. So it is not that something that took place at some mythological time and never is relevant. Mythology is eternally relevant, It gives us an insight into what is going to happen and the different phases of the moon particularly the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th moon are being highlighted through this pradosham ritual.
13th moon symbolizes the awakening, the spiritual awakening, from material enjoyment that took place in the 11th and the 12th moons, that's why the 11th moon Ekadasi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu because Vishnu is into enjoyment of this world. Lakshmi also comes out of that milky ocean on the 11th moon day and the 12th moon is the day for enjoyment and 13th moon is the moon for awakening, that's why the 13th moon which is the pradosham is very very important. The awakening takes place only at window time and that window time happens between 4.30 and 6.00 in India or in any other place it is an hour and a half before the sunset, it is called the pradosham time. That is the time when Shiva descends into the earth plane into the consciousness of people to give them awareness and why is this awareness, so that you don't get lost. People easily gets lost, everybody gets lost even the rishis, even the Gods get lost. It's not that human beings get only lost because it is very difficult to keep focus on life and what is important in life.
And what is important in life is awakening, everything else is going to be gone but what is going to stay with you is the knowledge that want gains during one's lifetime and every pradosham time on the 13th moon, the sunset time, one and a half hours before the sunset time is the window time for everyone to wake up even if you don't meditate on a daily basis.
If you are aware of the pradosham time and observe the pradosham time, meditate during the pradosham time then you will be liberated, liberated from this maya or unconscious life and particularly this pradosham day that I happen to talk to you about this is a very important one because it is the saturday pradosham. The saturday pradosham is a very powerful pradosham called the great pradosham or Maha pradosham.
When saturday coincides with 13th moon, it is called the Maha pradoshams so this day happens to be Maha pradosham day and I thought that I would bless some of the people in Ashram so I spontaneously had the thought to invite you and talk to you but at the same time would address the whole people around the world who follow my teachings to benefit through this session. So that was the purpose and I am glad that I could do this.
So in the pradosham time you just chant Va Ya Na Ma Si, Va Ya Na Ma Si, Va Ya Na Ma Si or Om Namasivaya or Thiruneelakantam or all of them together.
So if you spend the pradosham time between 4.30 and 6.00 on that day just chanting it will do immense good. And I think right now, a thought come to my mind right now.
We should, the Pillai Center should observe pradosham time and there should be probably a call, pradosham call in for different zones and people can get down and chant Va Ya Na Ma Si, Va Ya Na Ma Si and that will do a lot of good, particularly to remove Karma and to start a new life.

In this presentation I want to talk about the archetype Hanuman. I have talked about archetypes in General in association with my visits to Egypt and the Egyptian archetypes.
The archetypes are very powerful that was the tool used by ancient Egyptians. The ancient Egyptians knew greater technologies than we do. That's why the pyramid although it is 5,000 BC, is still a standing monument of the technology that they had. This technology that they received was not from rational engineering concepts that they got it from the aliens. Recently, I read an article about the pyramid was built from upside down. How this is possible? If you visit the pyramid you would know everything is possible because it is unbelievable.
So Hanuman is one of the archetypes of immense power. One of the important factor about the Indian archetypes is they never became extinct and they never got disused. As in the case of the Egyptian archetypes. Hanuman is still very much alive and each archetype comes alive at a certain period of time. Time plays a very important role. And in India, the Hanuman statues are coming up every where. Humongous statues like 60 feet, 70 feet everywhere. even in Singapore there are about few statues 60 - 70 feet high. They have been built very recently which means that the archetype is very much alive and is trying to help humanity. So it's a matter of establishing a relationship with this archetype. And it's very strange because the archetype is represented in 2 ways. One is in a very miniature form like one foot tall and also about 60 - 70 feet tall. These archetypes can assume these forms and then can do things that are humanly impossible.
The chants for this particular archetype Hanuman - The Monkey faced God says that he does what is impossible
"Asadhya sadhaka Swamin" He is the one who does the impossible and then it says that is there anything that you cannot do.
In this very short video I cannot explain the power behind this archetype but this archetype has been pan Asian archetype because you have it in China as well. The monkey God is also in China, but more prevalent in India. There are rituals that are done in different temples to get in communication with this archetype.
In one epic in India, the Ramayana is centered around this archetype, Hanuman, who is able to fly in the air and goes to Srilanka and came back. So it is our advantage that we make connections with the archetype. I want to talk about one particular temple that is dedicated to this archetype. Politicians go there, Businessmen go there in order to receive blessings from this archetype.
One ritual that drew my attention about this archetype is providing humongous amount of food, rice pudding particularly, to this archetype and they provide food up to like a few thousand dollars which is a lot of money in India. Actually this rice pudding is cooked and offered before him and it might appear to be really a very primitive ritual because the primitive logic is that if you eat more food you will get more energy. So it's not simple as the primitive philosophy, it is very profound. Because I have seen several of my people, who follow my teaching, have been through this ritual and had great success. So I only look upon the results and not judge. This primitive people have greater intelligence than we do.
So just to discard them as primitives, not even rational. so during this time of celebrating Hanuman' s birthday AstroVed has planned on several offerings for Hanuman and I want you to take advantage of that.

Fasting on the 11th Moon can be a great tool for your prosperity. I have spoken about the influence of the Moon on human life. The moon brings fortune as well as misfortune. And I am going to talk some point about how the phases of the Moon during its waxing and waning spaces affect our life. I have to find some time to do some research so that I want to provide a comprehensive guide for everyone so that we can look at what is in store for us in during every phase of the Moon.
In this video clip I am going to only talk about the 11th Moon. The 11th moon in Sanskrit is called the Ekadasi, which really means the 11th Moon. There is some numerology to it. 11th is in fact number 2 on the second stage. 1st is 2 and 11 and then 20. But this eleven is particularly a number that represents abundance. Number 2 duality. There are a lot of mythology around this 11th moon particularly associated with Vishnu. Vishnu is the God of the 11th Moon. So fasting on this 11th Moon has been found very useful to receive the grace and blessings of Vishnu. The scriptures say that if you fast the whole 11th Moon, off course with some fruits, juice. There is no need to observe a total fast.
The whole idea of fasting is that you have to remain hungry. When you will remain hungry, you will be more alert, that's the point. When you eat food then you go to sleep or the mind doesn't stay as alert as when you are hungry.
The 11th Moon brings a lot of prosperic energy that you will be able to access, when you are alert, that's a rationalistic interpretation but there is also a spiritual interpretation. There is a spiritual energy that comes directly from Vishnu, who is the ruler of the 11th Moon.
So I recommend that you observe the 11th Moon and fast. And while you do that in order to access the energy of Vishnu you can chant " Om Namo Narayanaya, Om Namo Narayanaya, Om Namo Narayanaya, Om Namo narayanaya, Om Namo Narayanaya. This is the primary mantra for Vishnu to access his energy. And if you want more information then you can go to the Google search and find out that how the11th Moon is important and why it is important. There is a lot of material available on this subject.
