Hi guys,
first, i just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for all the wonderful comments, criticisms, suggestions, and subscriptions. you folks are great and i really appreciate it :)

but i also just wanted to say a few things:

1) i am NOT here to become famous. i post these videos mostly for my friends and family all over the world [ciao famiglia bastianini. vi voglio bene!!!] who are similarly musical like me. and of course, just for my own amusement and for the entertainment of those who choose to watch or subscribe.

2) i am NOT trying to sound exactly like the artists i cover. i am a Romantic in a sense that i do not believe that art, performance or other forms thereof, is simply mimetic. it is supposed to be expressive. so, i apologize to those who are offended by my being more interpretive rather than imitative.

3) i SMILE because i am genuinely HAPPY to be singing the songs i sing! much like some of us can't help but close our eyes or make weird-ass faces while we sing or play an instrument [think john mayer. i love him btw!],my idiosyncracy is to smile a lot :D and no, it's not meant to be a "flirty" thing as someone suggested. i'm just H-A-P-P-Y!

4) who cares what my background or NATIONALITY is!? :P i know i look weird and ambiguous, but that doesn't matter right? let's just say i'm HAWAIIAN since i've always wanted to live in hawaii anyway :) ok?

5) i don't care if you are rude to me or knock me in your comments, but let's try NOT to be too EXPLICIT. children nowadays are very tech-savvy, so let's please just try to keep that in mind when commenting.

6) i apologize for not being able to reply to every single request, message, or comment. i have two excuses: i am both lazy and extremely busy. but i am trying to work on it i promise :)
