Get Started. How to insert new SIM card on Samsung Galaxy S5.

Without an active SIM card you won't be able to make calls, or browse the internet because you can't use 3G or 4G mobile data.

So before you can do any thing, you will need to know how to put the SIM card into the right slot. If you don't put it in the right way then it will not work and possibly damage the SIM Slot.

So what type of SIM will the Galaxy S5 accept?

Like the Galaxy S3 and S4, it uses the Micros SIM not the Nano SIM. If you have a standard size card, then you could cut it down to the Micro size. See this video:
