Ligdraca is a multimedia dance show developed for the facade of the Wittenberg townhall and marketplace. This production involves an international team of dedicated artists and numerous collaborations mostly produced in Wittenberg. It combines the visual mapping of the townhall building (ascending to circa 400 m²) and interactive dance composition, often complemented by kinetic resources. If there was a goal in this show, it would be, through sensorial defiance, to question the constant transformation of symbolic legacies perpetuated culturally. While being bound to the Cranach's family symbolic nomenclature, namely the signature, it also involves video shootings made in Wittenberg’s landscapes with renaissance inspired space compositions.

Ligdraca ist eine für das Wittenberger Rathaus und den Marktplatz entwickelte Multimedia-Tanzshow. Diese Produktion beteiligt ein internationales Team engagierter Künstler und zahlreiche Kollaborationen, die vorwiegend in Wittenberg produziert worden sind.
Ligdraca kombiniert ein Video-Mapping des Rathauses (bis zu 400m²) mit einer interaktiven Tanzkomposition, häufig ergänzt durch kinetische Mittel. Hätte die Show ein erklärtes Haupt- Ziel, wäre es die Hinterfragung der ständigen Wandlungen kulturell bewahrter, vererbter Symbole durch sensorische Missachtung.
Neben dem direkten Bezug auf die Cranach-Signatur stehen auch Videoaufnahmen aus der Wittenberger Landschaft mit von der Renaissance inspirierten Raumkompositionen im Mittelpunkt. Show less
