Hello everybody and welcome to my blind let's play of Half-Life 2!

Once again we pick up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling. Freeman is thrust into the unenviable role of rescuing the world from the wrong he unleashed back at Black Mesa.

Care to join me as I experience this reputedly-magnificent first-person shooter fully for the first time? We will fight, get chewed on by grotesque monsters, evade the ever-watchful eyes of this oppressive regime, make friends, find old friends, and I'm sure much much more!

Hello everybody! My name is ThatJ0eGuy and welcome to my let's play of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition.

Dark Souls is the awesome, the epic, and the quite frankly evilly challenging action role-playing game set in a nightmarish open world. Great drake's swoop and burn. The tallest towers are occupied by undead snipers and great giants, whilst the lowest depths are full of huge rodents and other monstrosities whose forms should never be shed light on. Undead adventurers just like ourselves fight and die all around us, often unseen but always present. What a world!

Now, I have played quite a bit of this game before - maybe around to just before the half-way point - so I know a bit. What I've never really done is gone through trying to appreciate the game's plot, setting and story as much as the fantastic gameplay.

The plot of Dark Souls is primarily told through descriptions of in-game items and dialogue with the various people (or things) that we meet throughout our journey. Players must piece together what vague information they obtain in order to understand the story, rather than having it laid out for them by the game - an approach I find uniquely intriguing.

So THAT is what this LP is primarily for - we will be taking time to read item descriptions, muse on the environment and story, and wring as much information out of the characters as we can. This way we can hopefully gain insight into this deep and complex world and mythology.

It's going to be fascinating.

F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon is the psychological horror first-person shooter developed by Monolith Productions.

A madman, Paxton Fettel, has taken psychic command of an army of clone soldiers and threatens lives and wellbeing! It's my first assignment with F.E.A.R, a team specifically designed to combat supernatural threats to national security. It's our job to take out Fettel, without a commander the clones should shut down and thus end the bloodshed.
It won't be easy, Fettel has an army of super-soldiers between me and him. On top of that, a mysterious and undoubtedly sinister ghostly presence is with him, killing everything in it's path.

I've always wanted to play this game ever since playing the demo six years ago, its masterfully constructed atmosphere of suspense and horror as well as its intense action make it an incredibly thrilling experience. This is a blind, live-commentated playthrough (for the most part, episode 8 & 9 are post-commentated).

On a further personal note, this is my first let's play series, so it shows better than my other series my progression in terms of video/audio/commentary quality.
