Yeah...I saw him in Hawaii in about 1969 or so in the Diamond Head Crater. He was practicing for that night's show.

I try to play my mental video tape over and over of the three hours I saw him there. I had bought some of those red see-thru bootlegged vinyls LP's in Japan and wore the grooves out on All Along The Watchtower.

The Stones (Goin' Home) and Hendrix kept me sane while I was in the US Navy in Vietnam and afterwards.
