This is a sample of footage captured by cinematographer Martin Lisius while he tracked Hurricane Matthew along the Florida coast in October 2016. Lisius was in the storm's western eye wall as it passed over Daytona Beach. Surge moved inland when the Halifax River flowed backward and flooded the city.
