Dear Friend, I cant explain to you
how much you mean to me
If it weren't for you
i can't imagine where id even be

You've made me laugh and smile
more than i can bare
You've helped me through the hardest time's
When i was in despair

You kept me up when i was down
And i was feeling blue
You helped me turn life around
And become somebody new

Every new day as its dawning
and as it gets its start
I want you to know I'm always thinking of you
with warmth in my heart

You are the true meaning
of friendship to me
If only there was more friends like you
so the whole world could see

what it really means to have a friend
both beautiful and sweet
then this whole world would be
more peaceful and more neat

Even when i dint tell you
when i was down and feeling blue
