Hack Author: SMWCentral Release Date: December 2016
Once again I find myself attracted to the SMWCentral collaboration known as the Vanilla Level Design Contest. In this, people submit individual levels for judging, and then everything is painstakingly put into a single hack for our enjoyment. This one brings about what you would expect, and I start by heading off into the Worst World.
This is my edit of the livestream. I tried to cut out most of the grinding and backtracking, except for when some good conversations/barbs were being had.
Do you, the reader, have at least one brother? (Not you DSO go away. I mean, like and subscribe then go away.) They have habits of doing things sometimes, and DSO dancing anywhere should cause mass...
So this was a pretty epic failure leading to success. I tried to not get wormed, but I still got wormed and it took me to a place full of things. My next IRL goal is to get swallowed by a worm and ...
Rogue Dawn is a NEStroid hack that makes all other NEStroid hacks pale in comparison. A lot of work in expansion has been done, including new items to NEStroid, a new boss, a load of custom graphics, and the result is the most spectacular NEStroid hack that you absolutely should play.
And once again I dive into the realm of Mario with the SMWCentral Vanilla Level Design Contest. Here lies the grave of Mario, alongside approximately 1,000,000 more as my Mario skills once again disappear into some unknown realm.
Seriously though, these VLDC collabs are pretty great, and you should definitely give them a try.
So I got "convinced" to finally play this one game that lots of people have been wanting me to play. I don't really like RPGs, and haven't exactly made that a secret. So people wanted me to play this. The following videos are edited down to cut out some dull backtracking and grinding, while trying to leave in most of the. . . Interesting conversations. Prepare yourself for accidentally a RPG!
Hopefully helpful to those who are trying to figure out how to use SMILE. New tutorials will be added as I make them. They will cover everything from the basics, to eventually much more complicated things. My hope is that these answer any questions you may have on that specific subject in the video you are watching.

Hack Author: ProjectXVIII Released Date: September 2016
This hack is supposed to make NEStroid in the Super engine basically. Project took some liberties and made a game that overall is not as good as NEStroid. (This is a decidedly big fan of NEStroid saying this.) But, it has things and a couple of interesting stuffs.
This is what happens when you have the guy who made Editroid willingly offering "cheats" in exchange for nothing beyond seeing the result. We get some idiot who actually plays bad NEStroid hacks for fun doing said "cheats" and resulting in who knows what. But seriously bad NEStroid hacks are the greatest thing.
This become more of a demo, but it does offer an interesting take not usually taken in NEStroid. It feels competent, and then it does things that I just don't even understand. Prepare for an adventure with so many bits!
These were the entries for the Metroid Construction Race to the Finish contest, in which half the entries completely ignored the whole idea behind the contest, and the other two are really great.
