I don't know that my channel really has any central theme. It has evolved a little since I started in though. I started just reviewing guns, knives and tactical gear and it sort of branched out from there to include some general life and/or current or past event philosophy discussions as well. I'm also into high end sports cars, mechanical wristwatches, pens, guitars, find woodworking and some other stuff too. Maybe I'll end up doing videos on some of that stuff too in the future. I tend to like to really high quality things - especially stuff that is at least partially if not totally constructed and/or worked by hand. I'm very old school about that kind of thing. There are just certain things that never get better and only worse as craftsmanship and hand tool skills evaporate into technology. Once gone, these things are gone forever so I try to appreciate them as much as I can while they are still here. I'm always seeking out excellence in all things and not just material things either. I seek that out in people too, and I'm fortunate to have been able to have surround myself with excellence in my personal relationships too. The bar is high in my book so I have no patience for the petty bullshit drama that goes on around here. I'm amazed at how seriously many take this place. In my opinion everyone should just embrace the great community we have here and try to see the good in everyone. But above all, be nice. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Just like your Mom probably taught you. Hahahahaha...
About Me:

I'm a fiscal conservative that believes in promotion of small and intermediate buisness through practical incentives, a lack of big goverment, hard work and limited social welfare. I grew up in the woods with no running water, an outhouse and a marginal childhood at best. But I crawled out of it all via passion and ambition and managed to make something of myself through hard work and tenacity. In general I feel that if you want something you should just go get it...

But instead, the currrent trend seems to be moving toward the creation of a bunch of cynics sitting around on their fat asses watching CNBC and complaining that guys like me that work our asses off and more importantly TAKE PERSONAL RISKS for our rewards are making too much money as their portfolios plummet - mostly due to their own lack of responsibility and/or laziness. Investing is like anything else, you can't just expect to stick money somewhere and know nothing about how markets work, or worse trust someone who's only motivation in advising is to earn commission from you, and expect to make a lot of money -or any! Wake up people. Your money is your responsibility. Don't blame others or ask for market wrecking legislation that you don't understand or otherwise buy in to the hype that is being sold to you. The free market is alive and well and need not be bridled. Use your head and remember what a market is. Money doesn't evaporate. If you lost 40% someone else made that money by betting the other way. That is called a free market. Somebody wins, somebody loses. Survival of the fittest. Harsh, but that is reality in this world down to the animal level. You don't ask congress to ban Wal Mart because they won a T-shirt price war and as a result, some smaller shirt seller went out of business, so don't think it is any different when it relates to messing with the free market and speculation just because you lost money and you are pissed off. Go get some knowledge, do some research and figure out how not to be the sucker next time. Above all, exercise your rights and fight peacefully against all who inadvertently propose to ruin what is truly great about all free societies. They do so only out of jealosy and/or ignorance, and both are nothing but selfish reasons. You can have whatever you want with virtually no limitation in the free world. The free world IS the free market and NOT a democracy. Freedom has nothing to do with democracy. Don't be naive enough to think that the free market and a free democracy are the same thing. The free market is the backbone of our culture and what AFFORDS us our freedoms. Without rich people and poor people it doesn't work guys I'm sorry to say. So the only solution is to figure out how not to be the poor guy unfortunately. Legislating otherwise will ironically take away your freedom to be allowed to make your own way and be rewarded for it. Work, and work with passion and pride and your dreams will all come true. I'm living proof...

Newsflash: The dollar was weak today in its purchasing power of a brain surgeon's labor. You know what that means? We are going to be on the Brain Surgeon standard soon.
