In this series of videos, I investigate the development of Windows Codename "Longhorn", which eventually evolved into Windows Vista. The series starts with Windows Codename "Longhorn" Build 3683 in September 2002 and ends with Windows Vista RTM + SP2 (Build 6002) in April 2009. This was the longest and most difficult development process in Microsoft history, resulting in a version of Windows that was vastly different to what was initially intended.
In this series of videos, I investigate the development of Windows Codename "Chicago", which eventually evolved into Windows 95. The series starts with Windows Codename "Chicago" Build 56 (4.00.56) in July 1993 and ends with Windows 95 RTM + Service Release 2.5 (4.00.950C) in November 1997.
