This was my entry for the final round of Asis Galvin's BOTB. I was crowned as the champion of this tournament.
Title: Ascension of The Mind Genre: Atmospheric Hip-hop/ Orchestral Electronica/Ambient Details: I originally entered this BOTB to inspire and cheer on my student The Brass Diezel. I never thought I would make it this far so I have to thank you all for the support for sure. My entry is full of suspense, which eventually builds, ending with ascension to the next level of my being. The last beat of my life. It would have to be something that showcases almost everything I have learned over these last 9 years of composition and production. This probably wouldn't be the last track I would ever create because, I like to experiment with many genres at once. Last beat though... yea I am ok with dying after this one. I would like to give a special thanks to Asis Galvin for hosting a very clean, fair, and well planned BOTB. Our community owes you more than we give. Thank you for bringing us all together again. Good luck to you in this round and in the future with your music.
*Note I decided to let you guys know what I did for each part in the annotations. Just in case anyone wants to learn how to create my sound. The pictures represent what we can accomplish if we put our minds together. The last picture is the realization that I won't be alive to see our minds grow. Afterlife? I hope, I pray.
