History

The music has its roots in the popularity of the state of Goa acquired in the late sixties and early seventies, who called it as a hippie mecca, and although the musical developments were incorporated elements of electronic music, industrial music and EBM with the spiritual culture in India through 80 years, the current style of Goa Trance style did not appeared until the early 90's. While the influence given by the hippie tourist merely to characterize the seventies and eighties, a group of musicians remained in Goa, concentrating on the development of music in conjunction with other behaviors such as yoga and the use of psychedelic drugs.
