About this user
Dierre Jenkins was born on December 28th in Brooklyn, New York, the youngest of three brothers and two sisters. In the midst of his large family, he was always considered creative, but a bit bashful. Dierre, who had always been a slim child, began gaining weight around the age of 10 due to his inactivity, such as watching television and playing hours of video games. For the next five years he fell victim to cruel jokes and bullying, particularly because of his midsection. At the age of 15, tired of the taunts, he became more active and competitive by participating in sports such as basketball, football and boxing. By the age of 20 he discovered three passions in his life, the love for motorcycles, animals, especially dogs, and weight lifting.
When Dierre began to go to the gym, he quickly realized that he didn't know how to use the equipment properly therefore he began to educate himself by reading countless of workout magazines. In 1999 he met Larry Williams, a man who was training at a Brooklyn gym. He approached Mr. Williams and asked him if he would be able to help him train properly. Mr. Williams responded, "Sure, just be at the gym at 3 AM tomorrow to start your training." Though hesitant at first, this was the catalyst which set off a spark and commenced a lifestyle that would transform Dierre Jenkins into D3HUNDRED; a YouTube sensation that has earned him bodyguard work for recording artists such as 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes.
With a whole new outlook on life, and a new goal, "To be one of the biggest fitness trainer ever", this 300 pound man possesses strength, speed and agility you won't see on any other man his size. The accolades he receives at the gym, and on the internet, makes D3HUNDRED more determined to challenge himself everyday by being more ingenious with his workouts, i.e. putting a spin on the average push-up, pull-up and dip. He sticks to a strict diet and a six to seven day a week workout routine, which usually starts at 3am. He does admit to straying to a McDonalds now and then. As a trainer he is honest with his clients by offering the best training advice and support while providing the best workout or training session.
Never interested in competing professionally, D finds comfort in the people he helps because he remembers being in their shoes once." If you can find someone else who is 300 pounds, and, who is performing and doing everything I'm doing, then maybe I would compete," says D. "My competition and my drive comes from training people; and my trophy is the smile on their faces when they've achieved their goal."
D hopes to make an impact in the fitness world and also branch out in other forms of entertainment and business ventures. He's been called a role model, inspirational, and amazing, among other things. But, being the humble person he is, he just sees himself as someone who can help people when no one else can.
