In case it is not painfully obvious this is a parody of
-people making how-to video's when they have very little actual knowledge
-speaking about technical topics when they have little understanding
-arguing that issues of knife performance are only opinions / personal preference.
How a handle looks and the visual appeal is an opinion, the weight of a blade which produces the most balance rate of fatigue is a personal preference. However issues of steels, geometry, heat treatment are not so casually dismissed.
It is just as inane to say that some people might prefer to chop with a wooden spoon to say it is just opinion in regards to the properties of one steel compared to another, how geometry influences performance or how heat treatment influences a steel.
