Berdu

We have finished our 4K restorations of two classic short films: "It Came From the Desert" (1968) and "Outpost" (1961). The 70mm film negatives from the Historic Battlefield Film Academy For Badass Movies were an excellent source for the restoration. Both movies will be shown in a one-night only Double Feature presentation at the Berdu YouTube Theatre.

"It Came from the Desert" is a 1968 western classic starring Charles Johnson and Henry Fondue. It wasn't well received when it was originally released, mostly because the audience expected it to be longer than 3 minutes.

"Outpost" is a black & white suspense film from 1961 starring James Slowburn as the mysterious Sand Max. The movie was thought to be lost by the end of the 1970's. Much like "It Came From the Desert", it wasn't a big success because people felt cheated after paying a full price for a film that lasted only few minutes.
