The City era of Cartoon Network. From early 2004-2008. The Now/Then bumpers shows each characters' heads in white discs such as Fred Jones, Pikachu, and even Naruto. The era didn't last longer in the US. Latin America carried this before its defunct to the Toonix era in 2010.
