00Rooster4Life00 Presents a Tribute To Shannon The Cannon Briggs . Briggs began his career in 1992 and was undefeated in his first 25 fights. He suffered his first loss when he was knocked out by undefeated Darroll Wilson in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in 1996. The fight was broadcast on HBO and was a showcase of young heavyweight fighters. Following the loss, Briggs defeated George Foreman for the linear world heavyweight championship and then challenged Lennox Lewis for the WBC heavyweight title. In their 1998 fight, Briggs had Lewis in trouble early but was knocked down three times and lost by TKO. He later drew with Francois Botha and lost a decision to clubfighter Sedreck Fields, considered a major upset.[1] He also was outpointed by contender Jameel McCline but defeated former WBO heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist Ray Mercer in 2005. Shannon won the WBO heavyweight championship title when he knocked out Sergei Liakhovich in the last round of a November 4, 2006, matchup. After a lackluster 11 rounds which left the Arizona crowd restless, Briggs was losing on all three judges' scorecards. Sensing urgency, Briggs pressed the fight in the 12th round and knocked Liakhovich down. Briggs subsequently trapped him on the ropes and continued his assault, knocking Liakhovich out of the ring. Liakhovich landed on a ringside table, and the referee stopped the bout. The official time was 2:59.In his first title defense Shannon Briggs was to face Sultan Ibragimov on March 10, 2007; however, Briggs pulled out of the fight because he was diagnosed with "aspirational pneumonia." The fight was rescheduled fifty days later in Atlantic City on June 2, 2007, with a sluggish Briggs losing in a unanimous decision.Briggs is promoted by Don King Productions and self managed.

PLEASE READ BELOW...
Below I have posted some things about the video, since some people think I took the song to literally, but before you comment that, please read the "clues" below.
What I was trying to do in this video was combine what Harry was saying, and what he meant.
Clue 1: In most of the video, the pictures are shown zooming in...and then out...and then in, etc. This is to show a metaphoric cradle rocking...to help show the father thinks he is doing the right thing.
Clue 2: Many of you have a problem with the video actually showing a cat and a sliver spoon rather than something more...metaphoric. However, it does.
The first time Harry says "And the cats in the cradle, and the sliver spoon, etc", it shows a cat in a cradle...but that cat will change and will be in different spots to show time passing by...then it shows a Sliver spoon...but when Harry says this verse the next few times, the spoon will have a fork next to it, then a knife. This is to show, once again, age and maturity in the boy. The Last spoon in the video is meant to look old as if the father is looking at it remembering all of this.
Little boy blue starts off with the Blue Man, then to a Blue room, then to a Blue car, and then to a blue house...to help show how the boy, once again, grew up like the rest of us.
The Man on the moon, starts off with a toy man sitting on the moon, to a real photo of the moon, to the man landing on the moon, and then what the future of the moon might look like. Not trying to make it about the moon, but it shows how the boy is learning more and more as he gets older, and he starts noticing all of this. He isn't the child who once thought the man can sit on the moon.
"When you coming home, son, I don't know when, but we'll have a good time then, etc"...this also changes...from the shots of a park, to a shot of a baseball game (which ties into the song since the father bought the kid a baseball), and then the city, and yes, showing AGAIN how the boy changed. In the last verse, however, it shows the house with a slow zoom on it...and then it fades to a gate with a lock on it to show the house has been long empty.
Clue 3: If you all noticed, the video often showed a clock, but this was by no means random...the first clock shows it is 10 O'clock before Harry says "My son turned ten just the other day"...this again was not only meant to match the words directly, but to show that time begins to fly by...because the next clock shows that the boy is in his 20's since Harry says "Well he came from college just the other day"...and the next clock does not only match the words, but the numbers are also scattered showing it is to late for the father to make up.
Clue 4: At the start of this video as well as the end, it is noticeable that it starts out in space as it zooms into Earth (Zooming out at the end). This was to simply show how small we really are...HOWEVER, we can still make a huge impact on ourselves as well as others we love.
Clue 5: If you noticed, the the pictures to beat ratio at the VERY end is slightly off...it is as if the pictures is ahead of the song. This is to show time catching up to present day.
Clue 6: When Harry says things like "Sliver spoon" and "Little boy blue and the man on the moon"...those are nursery rhymes. Not telling this where I put this in the video...but try to find it! Leave a comment and I will tell you if you where right. :)
There are MANY other mini-clues in the video, but I don't want this to be a mile long (to late, haha)
For those of you who are ready to say this song doesn't need a description, you are right...it is a GREAT classic. However, as I said before, this is a description of the video to show what I put into it because I am tired of people saying I didn't put much thought into it.
Hope you understand, and good day.
Oh, and if you are reading this right now, PLEASE leave a comment telling me what you think of what I did. Thank you.
P.S. Please forgive any typos/grammar errors, if you find any, comment. I don't have much time so I had to type this quickly so everyone got the point. :) Thank you!
P.S.S. If you STILL don't like how the video was done, or still don't understand the clues, I don't care anymore. Just listen to the song and enjoy this great classic!!!!!!
Last thing: At the time this video was made, I only had Windows Movies Maker. I also didn't have any money at all, so all I did was research the web for pictures, and made this. It was made in one day of non-stop work. Add in a slow computer, and you will understand. It didn't come out perfect, and I REALLY wanted to do a live-action, trust me, but not everyone is rich, and I was 14 when I made this. It is far from perfect, and I really wish it was better, but this is it...if it isn't good enough for you, MAKE YOUR OWN.
UPDATE - 9-24-09
100,000 VIDEO VIEWS! Thank you so much everyone! :)

Even Vitali said lewis had little time whilst he had lots to prepare and that lewis was badly conditioned straight after the fight.
Better than anyone's else record.
