It's that time of the year again, as Tennessee Valley Railway Museum has taken their precious time out to give us railfan what we've been waiting for all year, the Summerville Doubleheader Special with SOU 2-8-0 630 & SOU 2-8-2 4501 as the prized runners. This year, I rode with my friend Clark Borrow from WSB-TV as we chased the entire run south from Chattanooga - Summerville. It was all fun until the northbound run was turned sour when the Old Barwick Mills warehouse caught fire and forced the train to finish their excursion a bit earlier than expected. But, nevertheless, I managed to get tons of great footage of these two historic locomotives in action.
