As is reported by many sources: barely 5,000 people entered the first contest: this, when entering the contest was FREE for anyone who bought the game. Think about it. Even Duke Nukem Forever sold 376,300 its first month. In order for your defense of Swordquest to hold water, it would have to have sold over 376,300 yet only 5,000 entered the contest? Nonsense! Only 5,000 people entered because: the sales were that PITIFUL. Sorry, dude; AVGN was WAY off on this one. Swordquest was an EPIC FAIL.

The problem with Wand of Gamelon and Superman 64 is that nobody expected them to be great, or even good.

Like I said in the intro; some games are hyped prior to release as if they will be the next Halo, or the next Super Mario, and yet the resulting game was a disaster.

It is all up to interpretation though I felt this "rule" (hyped/highly-anticipated games only) made for a more intriguing list.

If your mom gave you a free Xbox 360 and the complete Halo trilogy for your 2012 birthday, yeah, I can see why you'd feel the Halo 2 ending was "GREAT." Back in 2004, us adults had to wait THREE years to buy another $60 game AND a new $300+ game system to see the ending. That? SUCKED. Period.

And yes, Poindexter, I know what a cliffhanger is. As my video made clear (listen next time): there have been *MANY* cliffhangers. Bungie should have known better. Cliffhangers suck. Deal with it.

Just FYI: its main story was ripped off shamelessly from Lurking Horror, blood everywhere is not creepy unless you fear blood (not me), and it was at LEAST the 12th game I have played with a severed head.

This is the LAST Amnesia rant I will reply to. All others will be DELETED.

Okay dudes, LAST time about this. YES, Amnesia WAS a creepy game. The problem? The whole game was an amalgam at best, and a rip off at worst, of over a dozen PRIOR games. Walls seemingly alive with flesh? System Shock 2. Unstoppable enemies? Clock Tower. Getting your memory back only to learn you were a mere puppet for the enemy? Bioshock. The list goes on. Creepy game? YES! Creepiest I ever played? No. Sorry. NO. If you disagree, by all means, make your own list, & I'll enjoy reading it! Fair?

I agree that the name Sierra is still around though only in name. The original Sierra game studios which made all the classic adventure games of the 80s and 90s is closed forever. Personally I will always blame Phantasmagoria as the start of their downward spiral, though that is just my opinion.
