The biggest daily newspaper in Switzerland is calling her “the most successful DJane of Switzerland”. But the former international topmodel wants to make an impact with her music and not her looks. During six years in the music business she achieved more than this. Today Tanja La Croix is internationally highly demanded as a DJ and producer with gigs at the hot spots of the party world. She is the testimonial of Mercedes Benz Switzerland and successfully released her new CD HOUSE KISS.

Tanja La Croix alias Tanja Wettach, born April 8th 1982, made her first musical appearance in the clubs throughout Switzerland in 2005. The DJ from St. Gallen loves House and Electronic music so much, she isn’t satisfied to just DJing and started to produce her own music early in her career. Already in 2007 she released her debut album A TRIP TO BIKINI ISLAND and gained chart position 49 in the official Swiss album charts with it. What followed were tons of successful singles, remixes, EPs and compilations.

In the summer of 2010 Tanja La Croix landed the next big coup in her career and became the face of the Street Parade. As the musical ambassador of the biggest Techno-Party of the world she was mixing the official Street Parade compilation and was celebrating with a half a million fans on her own Love-Mobile.

In 2011 the musician released her fourth compilation HOUSE KISS and became the testimonial of the luxury automobile brand Mercedes Benz Switzerland. That’s not all. In the new funny Mercedes campaign she proved her driving skills and delivered with the own production “Star” the adequate soundtrack for it. The official Mercedes Benz Switzerland song appeared with other own productions like “Hard To Handle” feat. Andy P. on her current release. The compilation reached immediately position 11 of the official Swiss compilation charts and received a great deal of attention on the most important online portal, beatport.com.

As a well known DJ Tanja La Croix is travelling between China, Russia, Lebanon, Turkey, Germany, Romania, France, Austria, Ukraine, Italy and her home country Switzerland. Some of her most important performances in the recent past are for example her collaboration with the Haute-Couture TV station “Fashion TV” as well as DJ-sets at the El Divino Club (Ibiza), BCM Club (Mallorca), White Club (Beirut), Space (Mykonos), We Are Family (Moskau), C-Bar (Dubai), Jimmy’z (Monaco), FIS Hahnenkamm skirace at the Club Take Five (Kitzbühel), Mercedes-Benz CSI (Zürich), Sottovento Club (Porto Cervo) or at the official Red Bull Formula One After Party in Valencia. This summer Tanja La Croix takes over the season openings at the legendary Nikki Beach Club in Marbella and at the infamous Space Club in Ibiza. But her most anticipated gig this summer will be at the Energy 2011 in Zurich. During her set at the biggest party of Switzerland her House beats will be accompanied live by the violinist Valentin Akçag.

In the autumn of 2011 Tanja La Croix received the Swiss Nightlife Award in the category “DJ Publikumspreis”.

DJ, producer, model, event organizer – it seems there is nothing Tanja La Croix can’t cope with. With her distinctive style, her energetic personality and her confident appearance she’s boosting the charm level of every event or product to the highest degrees. Her way to the top is supported by brands like Guess, Hairstylist Coiffeur Carlo, Simply T-Shirt or Mercedes-Benz Switzerland. And an end of this way is not yet in sight.
