Jeff McIntyre and his family spend as much time as they can living in the 1920's style, off-grid camp they created on a 400 acre piece of land that includes 2 private lakes.
This mini documentary tours their "cookie" which is a treehouse-style artist studio that doubles as a cookhouse. They use solar powered studio lights and a propane lamp for lighting, a wood stove for heat and stovetop cooking, and a propane oven for baking.
The family converted an old trailer by gutting the inside and re-purposing it as a master bedroom complete with wood-panneled walls, a queen-sized bed and bunk beds for the kids.
Thanks for watching!
