In the Southeast USA, we have many favorite traditional recipes. We enjoy rich stews, green beans, just about anything with corn, ham/bacon (salty pork) and sooo much more! I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia so I want to share with you some of my southern recipes from my grandmother. I also will share with you my recipes where I take what I know (southern cooking) and use ingredients I love, most fresh from the garden, to create something wonderful!

This series of 13 videos will help the beginning gardener start a Square Foot Garden. My son and I make a bed and grow fresh vegetables over 3 seasons. You will be picking fresh vegetables out of your very own garden in no time! Grab your All New Square Foot Garden book and watch it come to life as I teach the method to my child. This series is in North Carolina, where we have a short growing season. I also have a series of my Square Foot Garden in Florida, where the growing season was long and hot.

You will not find another series of Square Foot Garden videos like this anywhere on You Tube. Many years ago, I decided to start a garden and thought the Square Foot method sounded great. However, after much research, I could not find videos or pictures of actual vegetables harvested using an SFG. Skeptical an SFG would work, I decided to record the progress and post the results to You Tube. The complete series consist of about 50 videos. They were recorded in Florida, just a mile outside the Gulf of Mexico.
Join me on my journey as a novice gardener as I overcome obstacles and learn everything from how to space plants to how to start seeds. This series was not meant to be a tutorial, but the serve as an inspiration to others who may also be considering trying to grow vegetables.
