Buona Sera!

Marco "Mio Dolce " (My Sweet) I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the "This Mortal Coil" track ! I too "Amico Mio" am quite stuck on 80s music, especially stuff from the UK! Another 4AD Band that I've followed for years is "Dead Can Dance" when I first hear their track "Anywhere Out Of This World" of their "Within The Realm Of Dying Sun" album circa 1987, I was completely blown away! I even went so far as traveling to Paris the following summer, and had friends take a picture of me in front of the tomb on the album cover, that's in Pere Lachaise Cemetery! You can check it out on my DCD playlist, it's the first track!

Ciao Bello!

Marco "Amico Mio" I just gleaned in your music section the name Jeff Buckley! When I was a young man in the early 1980s, a favorite singer of mine "Elizabeth Fraser" of "The Cocteau Twins" did a cover of a song written by Buckleys' father Tim entitled "Song To The Siren"! About a year ago, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why all these kids really, were posting comments on a track that I had loved as a young man upon it's release in 1984! Then I learned that it had been part of the soundtrack to the movie "The Lovely Bones"! I'll send it to you, the hair styles are a bit dated but Frasers' voice still resonates beautifully!

Ciao Bello

Marco "Amico Mio" !
I'd love to see you put together a video dedicated to the likes of "Il Master Sublime Vecchio" Il Sodoma! That would be brilliant! I hope that I may be able to share, in a small part of coarse, the pleasure only of having inspired you in some way! I truly believe it so important for us, not merely to shed light upon, but to relish the history that we as queer (LGBTQ/gay) folks are heirs to! Recently, a young Hungarian "Economics" post grad was overjoyed when I disclosed that I enjoyed the creativity and vitality that was early 20th century Londons' "Bloomsbury Group"! And that the celebrated "Economist" John Meynard Keynes had been a member of that group, and in fact all of his early sexual relations were exclusively with other men! He excitedly messaged me back"Wow, the Professors at my University neglected to tell us that one, Thanks"! Knowing our history can be so empowering!

Buongiorno!

Marco il mio amico!
I've created a new playlist "Homo Eros In Art Throughout the Ages" , and I've just added an amusing video documenting an exhibition in London, where many of the Renaissance paintings depicting"San Sebastiano" are on display and "Il Sodomas'" is among them!

Ciao Bello!

I stopped thinking in Italian and spelled Vasari's first name Giorgio incorrectly, the consequences of jumping in and out of languages! Mi dispiace!!!!
Love
