-- Meaning --

If Everyone Is Special, No One Is -
i always thought about how weird it is that everyone is seen as special. and everyone is treated as that. however the sad truth is that we are all pretty irrelevant, and not as special as we think. no one will remember any of us in a couple decades, not that that's always a bad thing.

I h8 scl ntrctn -
this one speaks for itself, i'm a shy person. i'd rather be on my own forever than be with others for a week, this song is a way of expressing that.

Entry #6 -
based around my 6th school day of 2014 (second half), i called in fake-sick and stayed at home for the day. generally feeling terrible about the fact that i had to go back in and act like i'm someone i'm not for people i despise the next day, over & over again. - the reason it's called 'entry' 6 is because every school day of 2014, i promised myself to make 1 song every night. i did this as a coping mechanism because i fucking hated every second of high school. i referred to every one of these songs as 'entries', and the 6th day i didn't end up making one. so this song is me reflecting on, and remembering those times.

Sonder -
"the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own." i can't remember where i first found this, but i always loved it. I can never seem to wrap my head around that everyone is just as complex as one another. yet no one ever thinks about it that way.

Conscious Hell -
based around those moments of absolute rock bottom, about the times where consciousness feels like a hell, and it's a thing that you can't escape. i think most people know what that feels like.

title of the EP refers to a shitty period in 2012 or so, it felt like it was neverending. and i thought well if i will still be in this crappy place in 1000 days, i will let myself kill myself. 1000 days seemed like a realistic amount of time to try and switch things around. things got better, i held on to that thought and promised myself to use it as a title someday. the day this EP will be released (October 1st 2015) is roughly 1000 days from that time in 2012.

thanks for reading/listening. this is the first time i'm opening up about any of this to anyone, i feel this is the only way i can express it correctly.
