Video taken April 23, 2011. Aaron Baker travels up Washington State Highway 504 also known as Spirit Lake Memorial Hwy. Aaron stops off at Silver Lake observing a Great Blue Heron eating a cat fish and a large carp swimming in the shallow waters. Aaron finds Deer and Elk eating the fresh spring grass growing out of the once barren ash covered land. In this video you will see photos from before the 1980 eruption found in Aaron Baker's family photo collection.
