SlamFind has partnered with Strength of Doves, a talent agency representing social justice oriented authors, activists, and teaching artists. Part of their mission is to create sustainable employment opportunities for poets to pursue their passion full-time, amplifying their voices to bring about social change.

These poets often get their starts at local open mic events, falling in love with the community while discovering themselves as artists. Without this thriving live poetry scene, there would be no touring poets or viral video sensations. These local events are the backbone of this art form we love, and together, SlamFind and Strength of Doves are working to give both venues and poets the necessary platform to be seen, be heard, and to make a difference.
