This is my first HD Timelapse shot with my Canon T3i. I took 1130 photos over a 30 minute timespan. Between 1-2 photos per second. I probably should have taken more but I'm glad I didn't. To take these I shot in raw format. The 1130 pictures took 24 GB of space on my card. Next time I am going to try using JPG instead to see how they turn out. The processing time for these was enormous.
Steps:
1. Take the photos (30 minutes)
2. Download from camera to PC (1 hour)
3. Adjust color and output to JPG (2 hours)
4. Load sequence into QuickTime Pro 7 and convert to mov file (30 minutes)
5. Load into editing software to add title and music then output to new video file (30 minutes)
6. Finally upload to YouTube (unknown at this point)
As you can see it wasn't a fast process but I really thought the end result was worth it even though it only lasts about 31 seconds.
