TAKE ACTION -- Make a phone call to STOP SB 384 -- Wiener's Dangerous 4 a.m. Bar Bill

The California legislature is expecting everyone to be occupied with a nice July 4th holiday and won't notice a key vote on the dangerous 4 a.m. bar bill now scheduled for July 5th.

Let's show them that we are watching and working through the holiday to stop it.

Senator Wiener and his supporters in the Senate ignored the evidence that two more hours of drinking will would only benefit bar, restaurant and club owners, and the alcohol industry, at taxpayer expense for the additional public health and safety harms it will cause.

Now the bill will be voted on in a critical first committee in the Assembly. Let's STOP it there!

Before 12:30 p.m. this coming Wednesday, July 5, 2017, please pick one committee member (or more) from the list below and call them to simply say - VOTE NO ON SB 384 -- We cannot afford the physical, emotional, or financial costs for more alcohol-related violence, emergency room admissions, injuries, alcohol-impaired driving, and motor vehicle crashes.
