A unique bonus out-take from the filming of Waldemar Januszczak's epic 4-part BBC 4 documentary series, "The Dark Ages An Age of Light"! The HD video of this out-take can be freely downloaded from the link on the 'Biography' page of Michael's website:

In this video of the out-take, filmed in the incredible replica Iron Age "Earth House" at the Cranborne Ancient Technology Centre in Dorset, UK, Michael Levy attempted to evoke upon his lyre, the sounds of the lost music of ancient Rome. A clip of the recordings during this film shoot featured in the background music for episode 2, "What the Barbarians Did For Us".

The series is a re-assessment of the "Dark Ages", showing the extraordinary art that was made between the fall of the Roman Empire and the Norman Conquest of Britain.
