15th November 2014 saw the official launch of newly restored Prototype Power Car 41001 in Ruddington at Great Central Railway Nottingam, by the 125-Group under the Project Miller banner.

To compliment the launch, East Midlands Trains, who assited with excelleating the initial progres by allowing the use of Neville Hill HST Depot, sent a short formed 6+2 HST set from Derby for invied guests only, picking up at Loughborough. The train took the rarely used (for passengers) freight branch 'chord' onto GCR(N) Metals where the HST went the full length to Ruddington.

Upon arrival at Ruddinton, one of the Class 43 Power Cars were removed and the Prototype Power Car added in it's place.

A short moment for speeches, followed by a Champaign wash of the power car by HST Desiger Sir Kenneth Grange, and the set went for a 20mile round trip back to GCRN Network Rail Limits and return.
