The masks that we wear are to protect the gorillas from human infection.

We encountered several species of ants on the trip. Our guide Tomo has since pointed out to me that my closeup shots of ants are actually Matabele Ants (Megaponera foetens), rather than Safari Ants (Dorylus). Unfortunately, due to the aggressive nature of Dorylus I didn't have an opportunity to get a nice closeup of them.
