The USF Herd of Thunder Marching Band received an invitation to march in the New Year's Day parade in Rome, Italy. Preparations are now under way to get ready to transport the band members, instruments, and uniforms half-way around the world!

Now with a new state-of-the-art building music students have 104,000 square feet of space including a 500 seat concert hall, a student recital hall, three studio rehearsal rooms, several classrooms and practice rooms, as well as an electronic piano lab and a composition lab.
The University of South Florida School of Theatre & Dance offers students a variety of opportunities in performance and production. The Theatre program immerses students in intensive studies in the disciplines of performance, design and theatre arts. Meanwhile the Dance program prepares and inspires students for a life in dance with a conservatory-based program with a focus on rigorous training in both ballet and modern technique. Opportunities abound for the creation and production of original contemporary works by students, faculty and guest artists.
