Not really, I've been honing my drawing skill so that when I return again to mugen, I'll be ready making a character with original sprite with original effects plus unheard sound effects... Aside of that, I plan a comic story about war and magic, its a good chance for me to practice my anatomy which would help me in spriting later :D
I never stopped, it has become a learning experience like you wouldn't believe.
