I made this mod by myself, searching information on the net and using a Hex Editor. I'm still fixing some things. So when it's ready I will put a download link.


It took me a lot of patience, but I finally found the way to change the character model with Hex Editor in a savegame from Resident Evil 2.
What I did it's simple; I get two savegames from EX-Battle, one with Chris Redfield and the another one with Leon S. Kennedy. I compared the hex data and I've found in the line 1D8 something like this:

00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 08 00

You can count the 0 (zero) if you want, I'm think there are 48 in total. Alright then if you compare the two savedata from Chris and Leon after that line you'll see in:

- Chris' savegame: 0B 0B 64 64
- Leon's savegame: 00 0B 55 64

That's the comparation that I did, then in a Leon savedata from the story mode I found the same line and I changed the first two 00 to OB. And worked!
